Bilingual Reading


Two major Puerto Rican writers—the novelist, essayist, and playwright Sánchez (Macho Camacho’s Beat; La importancia de ser llamado Daniel Santos) and poet and novelist Santos-Febres (Sirena Selena; Nuestra Señora de la noche)—present their latest fiction. Alfred J. MacAdam and Maja Horn, of Barnard College, will read translations of the authors’ work. Reception to follow.
